Alexis is the Director of McGovern Library at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota. She began her position as Director in June of 2021, working previously as an Outreach Librarian at Dakota Wesleyan since September of 2020. Prior to moving to Mitchell, Alexis worked as an Instructional Librarian at Northern State University in Aberdeen from 2019-2020. Alexis received her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Hawaii, Manoa in Honolulu, Hawaii, graduating in 2019 with a specialization in School Librarianship. Her undergraduate work was completed at South Dakota State University, where she graduated in 2016 with a Bachelors of Arts in English.
